In This Family
We exist to glorify our Father
Everything we do in this family is centered on the Gospel and bringing glory to God.
We want to grow
We will do anything short of sin to reach people who don’t know Christ and see them added to the family. Found people, find people.
We want to become more like our Father
We are committed to discipleship and helping those in the family to grow in their faith to become more like our Heavenly Father.
We are free to NOT have it all together
We are part of this family not because of what we have done, but because of what our Father did for us. It’s ok to not be perfect here.
We are contributors, not consumers
Our Father has told us to carry each other’s burdens and show the world we love them. We will be generous as a family.
We will take bold steps of faith
We will not insult God with safe living and small thinking.
We will laugh hard and often
Nothing is more fun than getting to serve our Father with people we love.
We will be unified
The local church is the hope of the world and we know we can accomplish much more together than apart.
We will always bring our best
Excellence honors God. We believe in only doing what we can do well and with excellence.
We will be known for integrity
Every decision will be subjected to scripture. We will choose to speak when the scripture speaks and be silent when the scripture is silent.
Our Beliefs
God
We believe that there is one living and true God, who is the Creator and sustainer of the universe. We believe that God is three in one: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
Jesus
We believe that Jesus Christ is God manifest in the flesh, and that He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, and died on the cross for the sins of all mankind. We believe that He was buried and rose again on the third day, that He ascended to Heaven, where He presently sits on the right hand of God the Father, and that He is coming again to receive His church and establish His earthly kingdom.
The Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit convicts the unbeliever of sin and judgment, leading to repentance and salvation; that He bears witness to the truth of the gospel in preaching and testimony; and that He seals, empowers, guides, teaches, witnesses, sanctifies and helps the believer to live as they submit themselves to the will of God in their lives.
The Word of God
We believe that the Bible is God’s perfect, inspired and holy word, which is our final authority in all matters. We believe that God has preserved His word without error and that we have God’s word today.
Sin
We believe that all men and women are born as sinners, and that the punishment for sin is death and an eternal sentence to hell.
Salvation
We believe that salvation is available to all who believe in the atonement of sin through the death of Jesus Christ on the cross. There is no saving merit in any other person, belief or work. The blood of Jesus Christ is the only acceptable payment for sin.
